We are living in unprecedented economic times. Unemployment numbers are soaring. While signs are pointing toward a recovery, the stock market continues to be volatile. Last November, our nation experienced a groundbreaking election in terms of both voter turnout and a first-ever outcome, followed closely by the most sweeping and costly stimulus package our state and nation have ever seen. We remain cautiously optimistic that the economy is recovering, but one thing is increasingly clear – we cannot go back – we can only go forward, into a future we can’t accurately predict or fully envision.
